Indiana Farmed Goods
Meet the Merchant
Tara Colleen Gentile Cummings has a gift for curating experiences around quality food and the hospitality to match.
With years of expertise in the Indiana fine dining industry, she has always resonated with local, organic, and ethical farm-to-table ingredients with exemplary service.
Tara began her voyage in the restaurant escapade working as a server at Bloomington’s, The Irish Lion, while she attended Hanover College for a degree in Literature Arts.
There she met her man, Ryan, and together moved to downtown Indianapolis to meet new locavores.
Tara continued working her way up through the industry for 5 more years, serving or managing at several of Indy’s culinary gems - including Prime 47, Ukiyo, Stella, and finally, Tinker Street.
From Tinker Street as a maître d' (French for master of the house), she married her man, Ryan Cummings, and dug in her spurs. Together they moved to a farmhouse on Wasatch Lake, Poland, Indiana, as the paradise retreat’s official caretakers.
Here, she continues to invest all of her expertise and passion into the same sustenance today that she always has - quality food and hospitality - from her very own venture at Marble Farms.
