Patrick and Tess Toner are beekeepers, bakers, artists, family, and honestly just a good time. Their little family of three, including daughter Grace, have harvested deep roots from their heritage in cooking and cultivation to bring you a haven full of all the same. These treats have truly augmented our Good Timing pop-ups with all-natural treats and treasures.

Bee Keeps
With a raw supply of Indianapolis honey from their backyard and beyond, Bee Haven is sure to source this liquid gold in all of their products, where and when possible.
Today, Tess and Patrick tend to hives as a team, teaching their daughter Grace along the way. It has been an extremely holistic ingredient in their household, often teaching the fundamental concepts of curating a sustainable ecosystem in and out of the home.
Tess often teams up with her sister Tara over at Marble Farms to tend to one of their local lady hives downtown. They began their beekeeping adventure in 2019 with one of their first hives at Indianapolis’s dining gem, Tinker Street Restaurant & Bar, where it remains today.
From fine cuisine to home goods and supplements, the wonders of raw, local honey continue to reinspire healthier living around the country. Bee Haven is honored to be apart of this tradition in their own community.
Patrick Toner graduated Culinary Art School in 2017 shortly before working as a chef in many of downtown Indianapolis’s staples, including Subito Soups and Tinker Street Restaurant & Bar.
Today he’s able to fuse his experience into new flavors of his own, with Tess and Grace by his side. As Pat works the recipe, Tess tailors the edible colors and decor as Grace taste tests every single batch. Her critique is rumored to be more fierce than Gordan Ramsey and Martha Stewart’s love-child.
Together they curate new baking traditions, carrying on a skill and passion that has been deeply rooted in both their families for generations.
From wedding cakes and Thanksgiving pies to birthday muffins and more. These honey-sweet treats are made from the heart, with recipes for every occasion. From local ingredients, unique flavors, and delicious compositions, your order of Bee Haven baked goods will be sure to spark sweet comfort.
Bee Bakes
With Pat’s grandmother, Bev, having met President Dwight D. Eisenhower with her fantastic award-winning cake in 1961, and Tess’s grandmother Maude having baked hundreds of 3-7 tier wedding cakes for friends and family out of her own kitchen for over 50 years, the two expect Grace to own Hell’s Kitchen AND the British Baking Show by age 5.
Graduating from Franklin College, Indiana, with a degree in Chemistry and a passion for natural sciences, Tess continues to be a strong proponent of holistic health and wellness in life and business. Her desire to influence natural, affordable, and effective medicine began while studying abroad in Uganda and Spain for three years.
While selling life insurance as an independent agent, she continues to practice a certification in Rain Drop Therapy as she builds a business with her best friend, Pat.

With an official lift-off for Bee Haven Co in November, 2023, they are looking forward to selling these treasures and more from their very own store front, soon.
